Publication Policy
International Journal of Current Research and Academic Review (IJCRAR)
Introduction: The International Journal of Current Research and Academic Review (IJCRAR) is committed to upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and best practices in scientific publishing. In keeping with the principles outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), the following publication policy has been formulated to guide authors, reviewers, editors, and other stakeholders in the publishing process.
1. Manuscript Submission and Screening:
1.1. All manuscripts must be original, not under consideration by any other journals, and not previously published. 1.2. Manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism. Any content with significant overlap with previously published works will be rejected or require citation. 1.3. Upon submission, manuscripts are initially assessed for their relevance to the journal's scope, quality, and adherence to submission guidelines.
2. Peer Review:
2.1. All submissions undergo a rigorous peer review to ensure scientific accuracy, relevance, originality, and significance. 2.2. IJCRAR follows a single-blind peer review where reviewers remain anonymous to the authors. 2.3. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise and are expected to disclose any conflicts of interest.
3. Editorial Decision:
3.1. Decisions are made based on reviewer feedback, the manuscript's relevance, and its contribution to the field. 3.2. Authors are informed of the decision, which could be acceptance, minor/major revisions, or rejection.
4. Ethical Considerations:
4.1. Any research involving humans, animals, or sensitive data must have received appropriate ethical approvals. 4.2. Authors should declare any conflicts of interest, funding sources, or contributions from industry stakeholders. 4.3. All experiments and studies should comply with internationally recognized guidelines and standards.
5. Open Access:
5.1. IJCRAR supports the dissemination of knowledge and offers an open access policy, ensuring the content is freely available to researchers, scholars, and the public. 5.2. Copyrights of published articles are retained by authors with the journal holding the publication right.
6. Retractions and Corrections:
6.1. In line with COPE guidelines, any article that breaches ethical guidelines, contains significant errors, or has other valid reasons may be retracted. 6.2. Minor errors will be corrected with an erratum. Authors, readers, or the editorial board can highlight such errors.
7. Appeals and Complaints:
7.1. Authors can appeal editorial decisions. Appeals are considered seriously, and a reason must be provided. 7.2. All complaints, whether editorial or ethical, will be investigated thoroughly in accordance with COPE guidelines.
8. Data Sharing and Reproducibility:
8.1. Authors are encouraged to share any data, code, or methods used in their research to enhance transparency and reproducibility.
8.2. Any restrictions on data accessibility must be disclosed at the time of submission.
9. Advertising and Commercial Considerations:
9.1. To maintain the integrity of the content, editorial decisions are never influenced by advertisers or commercial partners. 9.2. Any sponsored content or advertising will be clearly distinguished from the journal's editorial content.
10. Continuous Improvement:
10.1. The publication policy and practices of IJCRAR are regularly reviewed to adapt to changing scientific, ethical, and technological standards.
Conclusion: The core of IJCRAR's publication policy is to advance science through the promotion of high-quality, ethical, and transparent research. Adherence to this policy by all stakeholders ensures the credibility and reputation of the journal.
Note: This policy will be revised periodically, taking into account feedback, changes in COPE guidelines, and emerging trends in scientific publishing.
